Hey Meg (et al)

Yes we know that bonine is used for GERD we are both taking it prophylactically and my stomach laughed at it.

The during hours visit was $60 and very thorough and was done with no feeling of rush or not listening. He tried to give me several meds for seasick and the “d” word but I had also had some super sensitivity to noise and smell and motion and rich foods so we did let him provide Imitrex as a solution to what was likely a migraine prodrome. The $27.xx was for 6 of the 100mg's which is about $120 in our pharmacy without insurance so there you go...

Today I had a very, very lite breakfast lots of papaya and a dry english muffin, no butter, no spice, no fat. Amy also got me some scrambled eggs from the Horizon court that weren't dripping in oil like the ones I ordered in the main dining room.

We played blockus in the new Piazza area with Stan and Anne, he had given me a couple of mallet-to-the-skull sleeping pills the night before and I got great sleep. God bless drugs.

Dj-Dawn, You can change to the blu ray using the TV remote/menu/input. The TV remote says mitsubishi on it.

Please don't text, we have to turn off “air plane mode” to use the phone for wifi calls and the texts pop up and will cost us because of data roaming.

Amy has reported great luck with the pen/medible combo.... I have more or less stopped and likely will for the duration, just not that big of a deal for me.

Okay so what should we tell you all? First I see Meg joined our blog she is quite internet savvy and obviously just checked the old one to see if there was a new one.

The finger is getting better and I can type a bit more that I was able to even yesteday.

I have had very uncomfortable stomach issues for the length of the cruise and today was no better, sweaty, queasy and burpy from the GERD and *perhaps but not likely* the 4 cheese pasta I had for lunch that might *but not likely* have tripped my lactose intolerant tummy too... I say not likely because amy told me not to eat it and I did any way.

Felt so bad that I actually went to ships doctor ($87) and made the mistake of include the symptom that starts with a “D” and ends in rhea which got me a 24 hour isolation verdict and CDC paperwork until I did some very persuasive and quick talking and I got it reversed (has anyone ever done that before?)

On other notes the ship is gorgeous the new Piazza in the center is far better than golden and a big step up for Sapphire. I am going to skip a few more meals and see if that helps but the food is really nice this trip so that is hard.

We miss all of you so badly and wish we could have you here with us, thanks for the pics Dawn, we really loved them but more dogs and less flowers would be great. Okay, Amy says both are good.

One more sea day and we are on the Islands, It feel like a really long 4 days but I am sure the tummy stuff is making that seem that way.

I am going to try to upload a few more pics but the service is terrible and takes forever to do so.

post 1 day 2

Hi kids we see you have been playing and that is great here is a quick update with pics. Ok not so much as the pics wouldn't upload. I was really queasy last night and skipped most of dinner and all snacks. So clearly I am dying.

Amy is much better and enjoying the pen which I am also avoiding so even more clearly I am dying.

We are up early and eager to get out and see the sea, gorgeous day.

day 1 of 14

Hello all,

We have been busy and having fun. Not eating like we did yesterday nor have we been “penning”
all that much as we have been fighting off sea sickness and exhaustion from the drive over at 3:00 am and the travel.

Stan and Anne are doing well learning the ship and he is really sick but that was going to be the case even if had stayed home.

My finger has been healing very well but it is still too tender to type much at it turns out that the injury (missing skin) is exactly where the key touches my finger.

Mostly we miss home and our friends and the dogs but that is normal at this phase.

More later miss you all be good or at least be sure to tell on yourselves when we get back.
